In 2005 my backpacking adventure began by flying to Finland and then overland to Russia before taking the Trans-Siberian and Trans-Mongolian train to China.

I purchased an old Russian Minsk Motorbike in Hanoi and drove across the country and along the Ho Chi Minh trail. From there I travelled the Mekong into Cambodia.

While backpacking in 2005 I spent time in Australia, a continent of wide open spaces, kangaroos, beautiful beaches and of course Uluru Rock.
